About Vessel Services

Maine fishermen founded Vessel Services in 1980 with the mission of providing ice, fuel, and fishing supplies right on Portland’s working waterfront.

As the fishing industry has evolved, so has Vessel Services, bringing quality products at reasonable prices to the waterfront and beyond. We have grown to serve EVERYONE who needs bulk ice, specialty ice, dry ice, premium boat fuel, yacht services, outdoor apparel, and fishing and boating supplies. Additionally, we provide delivery services, cold shipping and storage, and refrigerated truck and trailer rental.
